Teenager Tom loves practicing piano with his widowed Dad while his brother, Marty, does simple jigsaws. When Marty walks into traffic, social services pay a visit and Dad’s ever-loving mood sours. He meets a brooding stranger and vanishes, leaving the Catholic Church to raise his boys. Tom must wait for adulthood before starting his hunt for Dad across the Bible belt. A trail of letters from the grave leads him to an exhumation, stories of abuse and a dead body.
